JAMES WHITE
1818-1890

James White established the famous Segenhoe Stud in the Hunter Valley, NSW and became one of the most successful owner/breeders in Australian horse racing. He also served two terms as the Chairman of the AJC.
One of his most successful horse was Martini Henry winning the VRC Derby and the Melbourne Cup at its first two starts.
